Bible Study and Sunday School

Bible study is very important at Abiding Love.  We know that the Lord uses his word to strengthen our faith.  So, in order to grow as Christians, we believe it is vital to be in the Word.

Bible Study for adults is offered on Sunday mornings and one weekday evening.  At a time convenient to the individuals, our Pastor offers an 18 week course entitled "What Does the Bible Say?"  In 18 weeks the class reviews all of the teachings of the Bible.  This class is especially good for a newcomer to the Bible, but it's also a good review for the Christian who has not been into Bible study for some time.

For children ages 3 through 8th grade, three different levels of Sunday School classes are offered on Sunday mornings.  Children study many different parts of the Bible and discover God's plan of salvation in Christ Jesus.  They learn how he carried out the plan throughout history.

Young people in grades 6, 7, and 8 attend a weekly catechism class.  In this course the students study all of the teachings of the Bible and prepare to become communicant members of the congregation.
